Venue

We meet on the third Thursday of each month, at either the Brisbane City Square Library or The Edge near the State Library of Queensland. If we’re not planning on meeting at either of these venues, an email will be sent out to the group and posted on this website.

Arriving by Car:

Street parking is available in the city after 7pm for free (if you’re lucky enough to find a spot). Otherwise a there are a range of paid parking facilities in the CBD. The nearest would be at the Casino.

Arriving by Foot/Public Transport:

Brisbane City Library: The nearest train station is either Roma Street or Central Station. The Brisbane City Square Library is a good 5-10min walk from both stations. There are also bike stand areas for those arriving on bicycles.
The Edge: The nearest train station is either Roma Street (walk across Kurilpa bridge taking you about 15 – 20mins) or South Brisbane Station that is a 5-10min walk. There are also bike stand areas for those arriving on bicycles in front of the State Library.

Note: We usually like to have a few drinks after the meeting. If you plan to drink, please arrange public transport, or arrange someone to drop you off/collect you.
